Dashing Along DSP Christmas card

September 23, 2018

Yesterday I shared a birthday card made with the Dashing Along DSP (free when you host a qualifying workshop).

Today’s card uses the leftover DSP and the same layout but with a change of sentiment to create a Christmas card.

Same as yesterday, the colours used are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Old Olive.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Crumb Cake. The card front layers of Dashing Along DSP left over from yesterday’s card were adhered direct to a card front layer of Cherry Cobbler. Striped Burlap Trim was wrapped over the join on the DSP and then the layers adhered direct to the card front. A sentiment from Dashing Deer was stamped with Early Espresso ink onto a Stitched Label framelit of Whisper White card. Floral borders from the same set were stamped above and below the sentiment, by colouring direct to stamp with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive markers, before huffing and stamping. The label was then popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment and a flower from Dashing Deer were stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. One of the deer in the set was then stamped in Crumb Cake ink in the lower left corner.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
