Seasonal leaves anniversary card

December 18, 2018

Today is my Mum & Dad’s wedding anniversary and so of course – a card for them.

Anniversary card made with embossed leaves die cut using Seasonal Layers

They tend to prefer larger cards and so this one is A5 instead of my usual A6 but then I hand deliver so don’t need to be concerned about postage 😄

Colour combo of Soft Sea Foam, Whisper White and Shaded Spruce

The colour combo is Soft Sea Foam, Whisper White and just a touch of Shaded Spruce.

The card base is an A5 portrait (a full A4 sheet folded in half) of Soft Sea Foam. A card front layer of Whisper White was rolled through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling embossing folder twice, to emboss the full length of the card, before adhering it direct to the front of the card. Four large leaves were die cut from Soft Sea Foam card with the Seasonal Layers thinlits and each was rotated in a different direction and embossed with a different folder from the following (running top to bottom): Petal Burst, Petal Pair (one from the duo), Layered Leaves and Petal Pair (the other from the duo). Each of the leaves was popped up on the card front with dimensionals. “Happy” was die cut from Soft Sea Foam card with the Merry Christmas thinlits and adhered direct to the card front. After die cutting a large label from more Soft Sea Foam card using another of the Merry Christmas thinlits, it was stamped with a sentiment, letter by letter, using Make a Difference and Shaded Spruce ink and then the label was popped up on the card front with more dimensionals.

Insert using Colorful Seasons

On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment and a border of detailed leaves from the co-ordinating Colorful Seasons stamp set were added with Shaded Spruce ink.

Thanks for stopping by.
