First Frost any occasion card

December 24, 2018

The First Frost bundle is great for occasions other than Christmas.

First Frost any occasion card

For this card an all purpose sentiment was used on the card front and only floral images were used on the insert so that it can be used for many different occasions.

Colour combo of Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite and metallic Silver

The colour combo is Gray Granite, Blackberry Bliss and metallic Silver.

First Frost any occasion card

The card base is an A6 portrait of Blackberry Bliss. Frosted Floral Specialty DSP was matted onto a Gray Granite card front layer and Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon was wrapped around the layers vertically and secured on the reverse before popping the layers up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Blackberry Bliss ink, a sentiment and two small flowers from the First Frost set were stamped onto Shimmery White card. A third flower was stamped without reinking the stamp, for a paler shade. The flowers were cut out with the matching dies and the sentiment was cut out with the inner label, all from the co-ordinating Frosted Bouquet framelit set. Gray Granite ink was used to stamp the long leaf from the set twice onto Shimmery White card which was then die cut out. Seedheads were die cut from Silver Foil and a larger label was die cut from Blackberry Bliss card. The sentiment label was matted onto the larger one, then flowers, seedheads and leaves were adhered behind and in front of the sentiment before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. A mini floral spray was created and popped up in the lower right hand corner. To finish, a bow of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon was added with Mini Glue Dots.

Insert using stamps from First Frost set

On the Whisper White insert, the large flower from First Frost was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and seedheads with Gray Granite ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a very merry Christmas!
