Vibrant Vases thank you card

February 17, 2019

The Vibrant Vases stamp set works with the Vases Builder punch in the same way that the Vivid Vases set does. As I already have the Vivid Vases bundle it made sense to get the Vibrant Vases set too 😄

I didn’t want the very specific sentiment of “Thanks for understanding” that comes in the set and so I carefully cut my sentiment apart. It can be pieced back together on a block if I want the full phrase in the future.

Colour combination mixing Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green, all from Stampin' Up!

The colour combo uses Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green.

The card base is a small square of Gorgeous Grape, matted with Granny Apple Green. A card front layer of Whisper White was stamped with a partial sentiment from the Vibrant Vases set using Gorgeous Grape ink. Wide and narrow strips of Botanical Butterfly DSP were adhered down the left side of the layer. Gorgeous Grape ink was used to stamp the tall vase outline from the set onto a scrap of Whisper White card. After stamping the solid vase over the top of it with Highland Heather ink, the full vase was punched out with the Vases Builder and popped up on the card front with mini dimensionals. The outline spray of full flowers was stamped onto another scrap of Whisper White with Gray Granite ink. Solid flowers were added over the top with Highland Heather ink and leaves with Granny Apple Green ink. After fussy cutting out the flowers, they were also popped up over the vase with mini dimensionals and the flowers were painted over with Wink of Stella to give a soft sheen.

Insert using Vibrant Vase stamps

The Whisper White insert was stamped in the corner with the daisies outline from the Vibrant Vases set using Gray Granite ink. Solid petals were added with Highland Heather ink and leaves with Granny Apple Green.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
