Dear Doily die cut card

February 18, 2019

The Dear Doily bundle might possibly be a little way down the wish list for many people just because there are such other wonderful bundles on offer in this Spring/Summer catalogue.

Just in case they haven’t got it yet, I decided to use the bundle to make cards for my Stampin’ Up! team of Paper Dolls (hopefully you’ve received them by now and I’m not spoiling any surprise)!

The precision base plate definitely helps when die cutting such intricate pieces as this.

Colour combination mixing Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Lovely Lipstick, all from Stampin' Up!

The colour combo used is plain Crumb Cake and Whisper White with a splash of Lovely Lipstick.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Crumb Cake matted with Whisper White card. A card front layer of Crumb Cake card was die cut three times with the same doily from the Doily Builder thinlits and popped up on the card front with mini dimensionals. A Layering Circle of Whisper White card was stamped with a sentiment from the Dear Doily set using Lovely Lipstick ink and then adhered direct to the centre of one of the die cut doilies.

Insert using sentiment from Dear Doily set and a strip of All My Love DSP.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the Dear Doily set was stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink and a border of All My Love DSP adhered down one side.

Thanks for stopping by.
