Quick Pretty Label thanks

May 7, 2019

Make these quick Pretty Label thanks cards with a Petal Promenade DSP background.

This is a great layout to use when you don’t want to cover up your pretty papers.

We will be using the Label Me Pretty stamp set and matching Pretty Label punch in our face to face May Card classes (Saturday 11th and Thursday 16th). You can order the duo from me, add a little extra to your shopping basket to reach the qualifying amount and attend the class for free!

The Petal Promenade DSP and the Fresh Fig colour are both retiring at the end of the month but they are still in stock at the time of posting.

Cut the card bases to 4-1/8″ square and you can get 2 from one sheet of A4 with extra left over for punching. Cut the DSP mat to 3-7/8″ square and you can get 9 cards from one sheet of DSP with very little waste. Perfect for batch card making.

I’m clearing out some of my old stamps and I made a batch of these for my eBay customers.

Instructions

A quick set of Pretty Label thank you cards with a Petal Promenade background.

Start with a small square card base of Fresh Fig. Mat with a layer of Petal Promenade DSP. On a scrap of Whisper White, stamp the thank you sentiment from Label Me Pretty, using Fresh Fig ink. Tip – get just part of the sentiment, by covering the text you don’t want with washi tape, ink your stamp up, remove the washi tape and stamp. Punch out with the 1-1/4″ Circle. Punch a Pretty Label from Fresh Fig card and adhere the sentiment direct to the punched label. Pop up on the card front with dimensionals.

Insert using Label Me Pretty stamp set for corner decoration.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp the label border from the Label Me Pretty set in opposite corners using Fresh Fig ink. Tip – to make positioning the corners easier, cut apart the stamp. Put it back together again on a clear block, to use it as it was intended.

Thanks for stopping by.
