My Hugs from Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived in the post earlier in the week and I’ve had to wait until today to be able to have a play!

It all arrives very prettily boxed up with beautiful tissue paper (I’m sure I can recycle that).

There is a set of instructions which are very straightforward but then I also found this video too.

The Hugs from Shelli kit includes the following:

An exclusive stamp set not available anywhere else
One Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Spot®
Paper and crafting materials to create 12 cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs)
12 exclusive, coordinating envelopes
Adhesives and embellishments for all 12 cards

Basically you have everything you need, except for a clear block. Block D is recommended but it’s surprising just how enterprising crafters can be even without one.

My first batch of cards are pretty close to the version you’d get if you follow the instructions … except for the sentiment. Some of the sentiment combinations aren’t ones I’d use, so I put together my own from the stamps in the set.

The first pair of cards are soft peaches and browns.

I’d already shared this first card after I had chance to make it at Onstage.

The second card has the same tones but mixes flowers and birds with greater emphasis on the flowers.

Then we have a pair of blue toned cards and I just love the velvet ribbon in that Pretty Peacock shade.

In addition to a bunch of sentiments you also get images of birds, flowers, a feather and artistic splash.

I’m looking forward to mixing the kit contents with some of my other goodies from the new catty.

Everything is pre-cut and ready to go which makes it perfect for crafting with non-crafty friends or a great kit to take away with you on holiday to do a little crafting!
