Today we have DSP share project 4 (please scroll down to see previous projects).
To celebrate the launch of the new annual catalogue I’m offering a paper share. This is a chance to get a little of all the different papers that are new out. And to help you use it, I’m sharing a series of projects with patterned paper as a major element.
Some of our papers have designs that can be cut out with dies. This project uses the Magnolia Memory dies with the Magnolia Lane DSP (we’re also using the decorative edge die from the same set).
The other paper with matching dies is the Dinoroar DSP and Dino dies.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Petal Pink and Basic Black with just a splash of Old Olive provided by the DSP.
Instructions
Start with an A6 portrait card of Petal Pink. Take a card front layer of Basic Black and die cut the top and bottom ends with the decorative edge from the Magnolia Memory dies. Cut in half and then trim away excess from the centre straight edges to leave sufficient gap for the sentiment when arranged on the card front. Take a slightly smaller card front layer of Magnolia Lane DSP and repeat die cutting the decorative edges to mat onto the Basic Black pieces. Adhere the DSP direct to the Basic Black layers and pop both up on the card front with dimensional.
Using Memento Black ink, stamp the sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia set in the right hand side gap. Die cut a magnolia bud from the Magnolia Lane DSP using the co-ordinating Magnolia Memory die and pop it up on the card front next to the sentiment with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, use Petal Pink ink to stamp the magnolia bud from the Good Morning Magnolia set in the top left and bottom right corners. Using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the set in the centre.
Thanks for stopping by.
If you want to join in the paper share then check out the details here and then email me.
Hope you’re having a great weekend.
