Today’s DSP share project 10 (please scroll down to see previous projects) uses a full 6″ x 6″ sheet to create a pouch.
To celebrate the launch of the new annual catalogue I’m offering a paper share. This is a chance to get a little of all the different papers that are new out. And to help you use it, I’m sharing a series of projects with patterned paper as a major element.
The Arts and Crafts dies that co-ordinate with the It Starts With Art stamp set, can die cut the little label used in this project but as I haven’t got those yet I improvised with the Timeless Label punch.
The pouch created for this project is just big enough to hold a pack of sequins but if you’re making it for a non-crafter, it can hold a few sweet treats instead 😉
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral with Basic Gray provided by the DSP.
Instructions
Start with a 6″ x 6″ piece of Follow Your Art DSP and diaper fold it to create a little pouch (please comment below if you’d like a quick tutorial on how to do this). Using Coastal Cabana ink, stamp the decorative edges from the It Starts With Art set onto a scrap of Whisper White card. Use Calypso Coral ink to stamp the sentiment from the set between the decorative edges. Punch out with the Timeless Label. Pop the label up on the front of the pouch with dimensional. Add a few Woven Threads sequins to the label to finish.
Tip – I snipped apart my decorative edges stamp so that I can fit a wider sentiment between the edges. I can always fit the two halves back together again on the block if I want to use them as intended.
Thanks for stopping by.
If you want to join in the paper share then check out the details here and email me.
Have a great weekend.
