This Colorful Seasons new home card was created especially for a friend who has recently moved house.

The Colorful Seasons stamp set and co-ordinating Seasonal Layers dies are one of my go to combinations for many different occasions cards throughout the year. For example, I’ve used them for Mother’s Day, anniversary and Christmas.

Colour Combo

The colour combination uses soft summer colours, mixing Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride and So Saffron. I love this combo as it reminds me of neapolitan ice cream!

Instructions

Start with an A6 landscape card of Blushing Bride. Mat with a layer of So Saffron. On a card layer of Whisper White stamp the small branch from the Colorful Seasons set in the top left corner using Crumb Cake ink. Using Blushing Bride ink, stamp the blossoms over the top of the branch. Stamp a sentiment from the Delightful Day set to the right of the branch using Soft Suede ink. Die cut three lawn chairs from Crumb Cake card with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Turn one of the chairs upside down and trim the excess as far as the “arms” of the chair to create a table. Adhere all three direct to the front of the card. Using Blushing Bride ink, stamp the drinks just above the table. Add lemons to the drink with So Saffron ink. Adhere the layer direct to the card front.

On the Whisper White insert add another sentiment from the Delightful Day set using Soft Suede ink. Using Pear Pizzazz ink, stamp the leaves from the same set along the bottom as a border. Add the flowerheads over the top with So Saffron ink.
