This little Rococo Rose Parcel is made using the Parcels & Petals bundle. The main die in the Perfect Parcels Die set (cut two) cuts the top, sides and base of the box. It does most of the “engineering” for you.
The stamp set that forms part of the bundle has stamps for decorating the box, sentiments for labelling the box and beautiful watercolour flowers. Of course all stamps can be used on other projects.
The die set not only includes the box die but also dies for decorating the box sides and great labels too.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Rococo Rose, Merry Merlot and Very Vanilla.
We’re using In Colors on this project so why not check out our In Color Club. You’d get most of the cardstock, ink, gems and DSP needed for this project. Note – the Woven Threads DSP is provided as 6″ x 6″ sheets so you’d need to join two strips together to go around the box.
Instructions
Die cut two box pieces from Rococo Rose card using the Perfect Parcel dies. Using Rococo Rose ink, stamp the large pattern from the Parcels & Petals set onto the box sides (check the sides are both the right way up). Assemble the box. Cut a strip of Woven Threads DSP and wrap around the box lengthways, overlapping and adhering the ends. Using the layering dies from the Perfect Parcels die set cut the outline from Merry Merlot card and the detail from Very Vanilla card. Adhere the detailed die cut to the outline one and then pop up on the belly band with dimensionals. Finish the belly band with In Color Faceted Gems.
I just need to figure out what to pop in it now!
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
