Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Poppy hexagon box

January 11, 2020

This Poppy hexagon box is perfect to hold just a few sweet treats.

Poppy hexagon box

It uses the Peaceful Poppies DSP, teamed with the Painted Poppies bundle. The design comes from a US demonstrator that creates great boxes of various sizes and shapes.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Rich Razzleberry with just a hint of Poppy Parade and a splash of Whisper White.

Instructions

Poppy hexagon box

Cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and cut and fold following the directions provided by the Paper Pixie. Adhere a 1-7/8″ x 3-3/8″ piece of Peaceful Poppies DSP direct to the front of the box and assemble. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the large poppy from the Painted Poppies bundle onto a scrap of Whisper White card. Stamp the large watermark over the top of the flower with Poppy Parade ink then stamp the small splatter with Rich Razzleberry ink. Die cut out the poppy with the matching frame lit from the same bundle and pop the flower up on the front of the box with dimensionals. Punch holes in the top of the box and thread with Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, tied in a bow to close.

The Poppy hexagon box goes perfectly with the Peaceful Poppies DSP card I made recently (details here).

We’re using the Peaceful Poppies suite in our January card classes  and still have places available on Thursday 16 January if you’d like to give it a test drive.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.
