Parisian travel card

April 4, 2020

Today’s Parisian travel card was made before the Stay At Home policy came into effect but it now feels like a card of hope, for a time in the future when it is safe to travel again.

Parisian travel card

The card was one that I made at our last Paper Dolls Team Meeting. Our next Team Meeting will take place on 14 April but it will be an online meeting in our Facebook Group. I’ll be posting out project kits to team members very soon so if you’re interested in joining us please let me know.

We’ve used a circle from the Stitched Shapes die set for this card but the squares and the ovals are equally versatile.

COLOUR COMBO

This soft, pretty colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Pool Party and Gray Granite.

INSTRUCTIONS

Parisian travel card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Petal Pink. Mat with a card front layer of Gray Granite card and then Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP, direct to the card front. Using the Stitched Shapes, die cut a circle from Petal Pink card. Stamp the sentiment from the Parisian Beauty set onto the circle using Gray Granite ink (I snipped the sentiment apart so that it fits better in the circle). Pop the stamped circle up on the card front with dimensionals. Die cut the Eiffel Tower from Champagne Foil using the Parisian dies and pop up over the circle. Finish with some Champagne Rhinestones.

Parisian travel card insert

On the Whisper White insert, stamp Eiffel Tower and the postmark from the Parisian Beauty set with Gray Granite ink. Using Pool Party ink add a sentiment from the same set.

Thanks for stopping by.
