Today I have a something old, something new, wedding card to share. This little coloured cake has been sat on my desk for months so definitely something old 😂 I’ve teamed it with one of the Ornate Layers dies as something new.

The cake is one of six different designs in the Piece of Cake stamp set. Here’s the spots and stripes design.

The card does use retiring products.

COLOUR COMBO

This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Whisper White and Metallic Champagne.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 portrait card of Thick Whisper White. Mat with Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP*. Stamp the flower cascade cake from the Piece of Cake set* onto Whisper White card using Memento Black ink. Colour the cake with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive duo combo Blends. Punch out with the Cake Builder punch*. Use the same punch to punch a cake stand from Champagne Foil. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the same stamp set onto a Stitched Rectangle die cut from Whisper White card. Mat onto a fancy panel die cut from Champagne Foil with the Ornate Layers dies. Pop the layers up onto the card front with dimensionals. Pop the cake and stand up below the sentiment using more dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, add another sentiment from the Piece of Cake set*. Using Flirty Flamingo ink, repeat stamp the small heart from the set upwards toward the sentiment, without reinking in between.
