This Band Together card was another of the make and takes at our May Paper Dolls Inspiration Meeting.
Although the Band Together stamp set and the Detailed Bands dies will still be available in the new catalogue, you only have until 2 June to get them together as a bundle and save 10%.
The team had the choice of leaving the DSP as plain white and gold, colouring all the petals and leaves indivdually, or colouring with a brayer, as I did. It’s Stampin’ Up! policy that we can’t send stamped images as part of a kit, so again, my team used their own stamps to add whichever sentiments/images they preferred.
Would you like to join our next Paper Dolls team meeting? The June 2020 Paper Dolls Inspiration Meeting is scheduled for 2 June 7pm-9pm. Please email me if you’d like to take part and find out more about the benefits of being a demonstrator.
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Pretty Peacock, Whisper White and Metallic Gold.
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with an A6 portrait card of Thick Whisper White. Take a card front layer of Ornate Garden Specialty DSP and using a sponge brayer, lightly add Pretty Peacock ink (you can always add more for a deeper colour but you can’t take it away). Wipe the layer with kitchen towel to remove any excess ink that may be sitting on the surface of the foiling (rather than risk transferring accidentally). Using the Detailed Band set, die cut the large ornate band from Gold Foil. Adhere it to the DSP layer and trim away the excess Foil. Adhere the layers direct to the card front. Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp a sentiment from the Band Together set onto a scrap of Thick Whisper White card. Die cut out with the oval from the Detailed Band set and pop up on dimensionals on the Foil band.
On the inside, stamp the sentiment and flowerhead from the Band Together set using Pretty Peacock ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
