This outer Floating Frame card in Petal Pink uses the Layered Ovals to create the frame within Cherry Blossom flowers. It is one of a series of cards that I made back in April for my Paper Dolls team. I’ve already shared a bright and cheery version that used Stitched Rectangles here and I shared the technique here.
This version looks very different as I’ve used a more pastel palette of colours.
The card does use retiring products.
Retiring products are available until 2 June or while supplies last. Some products have sold out quickly. If a product picture is missing or the link (below the post) won’t work it is most likely because that item has sold out. Please don’t delay if there’s an item you still want.
I’m so pleased that the Forever Blossoms bundle is carrying forward though after 3 June you’ll only be able to buy the stamps and dies separately – without the 10% saving.
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Gray Granite and Mint Macaron.
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with an A6 portrait card of Gray Granite and mat with Petal Pink card. Using Gray Granite ink stamp the blossom spray, flowers and leaves from the Forever Blossoms set onto Whisper White card. Colour the images with Petal Pink and Mint Macaron duo combo Blends and die cut out with the matching Cherry Blossoms die. Die cut out the centre with a Layered Oval and pop the flowers up with dimensionals on a layer of Gray Granite card. Adhere direct to the card front. On a smaller Layered Oval die cut from Petal Pink, stamp a sentiment from the Seriously the Best set* using Gray Granite ink. Pop this up in the centre of the card using dimensionals. Finish with Champagne Rhinestones.
* retiring products – get them before they’re gone!
On the Whisper White insert, stamp the flower sprays from the Forever Blossoms set with Petal Pink ink.
I’ll be back soon to share the card that was “leftover” from this one.
Thanks for stopping by.
