This sneak peek of a Heartwarming Box uses supplies from the Heartwarming Hugs suite, out of the upcoming August-December catalogue.
The colour combo uses a traditional red, green and gold mixture but with a green that is perhaps paler than is traditional.
Colour Combo
The colour combination mixes Real Red, Pear Pizzazz and Metallic Gold.
Instructions
Start with a 4″ x 8″ piece of Heartwarming Hugs DSP. Score at 4″ on the long side. Mark at 2″ on each short side. Score from the middle 2″ mark outward each way, to the fold line, top and bottom. You should now have two large triangles in the centre and four half triangles , one at each corner. Fold the half triangles inward to cover each other and use a hole punch in the centre. Add your treats to the box, thread with Real Red Braided Linen Trim and tie in a bow.
Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp a sentiment from the Warm Hugs set onto a scrap of Whisper White. Die cut out with the co-ordinating Warm Wraps die. Pop the sentiment up with mini dimensionals, onto a Stitched Circle die (from the same Warm Wraps set) cut from Pear Pizzazz card. Die cut a teeny star from Brushed Metallic card and pop it up in the centre of the circles. Pop the circles and star up on the front of the box.
The box was designed to go with the Heartwarming Squares card.
You may recognise the design of the card and box. They’re exactly the same layout as I’ve used before.
You can see the instructions for the card here and for the box here.
Thanks for stopping by.
