Today I have a guest crafter’s World birthday card to share with you. This card was made by my hubby for his Dad, using the World of Good suite.

He wanted to try something different this time and so I showed him all the elements of the World of Good suite. After deciding that he wanted a mainly Misty Moonlight based colour for the card he then selected one of the Memories & More cards to use instead of DSP. He had a lot of fun with the technical side of his cardmaking (the “tekkers” as he called it), turning the die cut into a sticker.

I really like his take on this card, it’s quite different to the card I made for my own Dad (a Father’s Day card) using the same suite.

COLOUR COMBO

The colour combo mixes Misty Moonlight, Whisper White and Metallic Gold.

INSTRUCTIONS

Start with an A6 portrait card of Misty Moonlight. Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays onto a small card from the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack. Adhere this direct to the lower half of the card front. Apply Adhesive Sheet to the back of Gold Foil before die cutting out with one of the World Map dies. This creates a sticker that you can then adhere to the upper half of the card front.

On the Whisper White insert, stamp the same sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays set using Misty Moonlight ink. Stamp the globe and stand from the Beautiful World set using the same ink.
