This snowflake Christmas card has shades of Night of Navy and Balmy Blue. The tutorial below takes you step by step through creating it.
It’s quite similar to a snowflake card I made in Night of Navy and Seaside Spray. The Balmy Blue shade is just a hint warmer.
The Snowflake Wishes stamp set and co-ordinating So Many Snowflake die set are available as a bundle which saves you 10% on purchasing them separately. Gems, Glimmer Paper and the embossing folder are further elements of the Snowflake Splendor Suite. Stampin’ Up! suites make it easy to combine products and get great results.
Colour Scheme in Blues
The colour combo mixes Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Whisper White.
Snowflake Christmas Card Tutorial
Start with an A6 portrait card of Night of Navy. Run a card front layer of Balmy Blue card through the Winter Snow embossing folder before adhering direct to the card front. Using Night of Navy ink, stamp a sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes set onto a large scrap of Whisper White card. Die cut out with a Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle. Adhere this direct to a larger Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle die cut from Night of Navy card. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with dimensionals.
Die cut three different size snowflakes from Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper using the So Many Snowflakes Dies. Adhere the snowflakes to the outside edges of the sentiment panel. Finish the centre of each die cut snowflake with a Blue Adhesive-backed Gem.
On the Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes set using Night of Navy ink. Stamp the snowflakes from the set down the right edge of the insert, stamping each off first each time for a paler shade.
