Today’s tutorial shows how to create a stepped up stamped card with the Joy of Sharing kit. This kicks the simple stamped card up another notch. I’ve used the Poinsettia Petals bundle which is selling like hot cakes right now.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Joy of Sharing kit stepped up stamped card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
The die cuts “bring to life” the 2D poinsettia flowers in the kit, helping them “bloom”.
I shared a quick video tip for getting more from the kit this week. Please hop over to my Facebook page or Youtube channel to check it out and Like/Follow/Subscribe for further tips in the future. Thanks!
Colour Combo
We’re still working with the same colour combo mixing Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Metallic Gold. (I promise we’ll have a change soon).

Start with one of the Mossy Meadow coloured card blanks from the kit and add one of the gold frames. Using Real Red ink, stamp a sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals set onto one of the deep labels. Adhere one of the red banners behind it and pop it up on the card front with dimensionals. Adhere 2 of the printed poinsettias from the kit, directly over the frame in opposite corners. Using the Poinsettia Dies, die cut flowers/leaves and seedheads from the leftover kit foil and more flowers from Red Velvet Paper. Adhere the flowers together direct and then pop them up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish the centres of the 3D flowers with some of the gold dots from the kit and scatter a few extra around the card front.

Using the Mossy Meadow inkspot, stamp sentiments from the kit and the small pine branch from the kit and the larger pine branch from the Poinsettia Petal stamp set. Add berries to the small pine branch and a poinsettia using Real Red ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
