Today I’m sharing a tutorial for a Tag Buffet kit thank you card. This project kit isn’t just for tags and it isn’t just for Christmas!

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Tag Buffet thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Of course you can always use the project kit to create tags or Christmas cards if you prefer.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Shaded Spruce, Metallic Gold and Metallic Copper.

Start with an A6 portrait card of Shaded Spruce. Cut a card front layer of Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP. Take a leafy tag from the Tag Buffet project kit and trim and punch the squared end of the tag to create a card topper (see video). Thread vanilla ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack through the topper. Using dimensionals, pop the topper up on the card front layer and then secure the ribbon on the reverse of the layer before adhering direct to the card front.

Die cut two different size of Rectangle Stitched, one in Very Vanilla and the larger from Gold Foil. Using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp a sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn set onto the vanilla rectangle.Adhere this direct to the Gold Foil and pop both up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish the topper with a bow of Copper ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

On the Very Vanilla insert, using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp another sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn set. Stamp the outline leaf trio three times in the bottom left corner, reducing the amount of stem showing each time. Add fill in leaves over the top of the outline ones, using Shaded Spruce ink, stamping off first each time for a paler shade.
