Today’s tutorial is for an ombre dandy inspiration card. It combines the Oh So Ombre DSP (one of our Sale-a-bration freebies) with the Dandy Laser-cut Paper.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the ombre dandy inspiration card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

The Oh So Ombre pack has 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ paper. The ombre-shaded, double-sided designs (spotted and plain) are in 4 colours, including Bermuda Bay (used here), Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green and Rococo Rose.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Bermuda Bay and Whisper White with a little Pool Party.

Ombre Dandy inspiration card tutorial

Start with an A6 portrait card of Bermuda Bay. Cut a mat from Oh So Ombre DSP with the dark area at the top. Adhere one of the Dandy Laser-cut Paper card fronts direct to it. Wrap with Pool Party Sheer Ribbon near the base and adhere the layers direct to the card front. Using the Stitched So Sweetly set, die cut increasing size labels from a light portion of Oh So Ombre DSP and Bermuda Bay card. Stamp a sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden set onto the ombre label using Bermuda Bay ink. Adhere the two labels together and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with Basic Rhinestones and a bow of the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon.

On the Whisper White insert, using Bermuda Bay ink, stamp the flowers and one of the dragonflies from the Dragonfly Garden set.
