Today’s tutorial is for a blue berry best card. It combines the Berry Delightful DSP with the Berry Blessings stamp set (this duo is one of our Sale-a-bration freebies).
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Berry duo which you can get free with a £90 purchase until 28 February. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that use stamps, DSP or both.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the berry best card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Pacific Point, Garden Green and Night of Navy.
Berry best card tutorial

Start with an A6 portrait card of Pacific Point. Using Garden Green ink, stamp the skinny leaves from the Berry Blessing set in both corners and the centre top of a card front layer of Basic White. Add the berries with Pacific Point ink. Using Night of Navy ink, add a sentiment from the set below the berries. Adhere a panel of Berry Delightful DSP to the bottom half of the card layer. Add a skinny strip of Pacific Point card to the edge of the DSP before adhering the layers direct to the card front.
Berry best card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Night of Navy ink, stamp a sentiment from the Happiest of Birthdays set. Add more leaves and berries in the top left corner, as stamped on the card front. Finish with a border of the same pattern of Berry Delightful DSP used on the card front.
This card was my own swap for my Paper Dolls team last month (along with a pouch containing a sweet treat). I couldn’t make my mind up which side of the DSP I liked better, so I made half with the berries pattern and half with the diamond grid pattern.

Swapping is just one of the benefits of being part of our team. It gives a fun purpose to our crafting, provides lots of inspiration to each other and lets us see some of the products we may not yet have. Of course it’s all a personal choice. If you don’t want to swap you don’t have to, whether that’s all the time, or you just need a month off because you’re too busy.
Thanks for stopping by.
