Today’s tutorial is for a Resin Heart hello card. I’m back with the cute snails for this one and mixing the resin hearts with hearts on the DSP.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Resin Heart hello card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
I die cut the snails from the Snail Mail DSP for this card but the same snails can be stamped, coloured and die cut instead (like the one from earlier this week).
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Blushing Bride.
Resin Heart hello card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Blushing Bride. Mat with Coastal Cabana card and then with the hearts pattern of Snail Mail DSP. Die cut two postage edged squares from Coastal Cabana card with the Snail dies. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Snailed It set in the corner of the top square before popping them both up on the card front with dimensionals. Die cut two different snails from the Snail Mail DSP, one carrying a letter and the other carrying gifts. Pop them up in the squares with more dimensionals, ensuring that they face each other. Finish by adding a trio of White Resin Hearts to the top square and Red Resin Hearts to the bottom square.
Resin Heart hello card insert
On the Basic White insert, stamp a sentiment from the Oval Occasions set with Memento Black ink. Add the heart from the Snailed It set. Finish by adding a strip of a Blushing Bride pattern of Snail Mail DSP along the base.
Thanks for stopping by.
