Tutorial for blackberry ribbon treat bag

May 29, 2021

Today’s tutorial is for a blackberry ribbon pansy treat bag. This little treat is designed to go with the pansy birthday card I shared yesterday.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the blackberry ribbon pansy treat bag. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

I often use my crafting ribbons to wrap gifts for family and friends.

The colour combo mixes Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss and Bumble Bee.

Just a reminder that the Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon is only available until the end of June or while supplies last. As it is on low inventory I don’t think that those supplies will last too long so please order straight away if you don’t want it to slip away.

Start with a 3″ x 9″ Printed Gusseted Cellophane Bag. Fill with treats of your choice. Punch labels from Fresh Freesia and Basic White card using the Label Me Fancy punch. Hold the two labels together tightly and use the same punch to punch a slot in the top of the labels. Using Fresh Freesia ink, stamp the small solid pansy from the Pansy Patch set onto a scrap of Basic White card. Stamp over the top with the outline and inner small pansy detail stamps using Blackberry Bliss ink. Finish by stamping the centre of the pansy with Bumble Bee ink. Use the Pansy dies to die cut the stamped pansy and pop up on dimensionals on the labels. Thread Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon through the slots of the labels and tie them around the bag with a bow.
