Today’s tutorial is for a Magenta Madness expressions mini carton. This is designed to match the Magenta Madness expressions birthday card.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Magenta Madness expressions mini carton. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
We also made an alternate version of this mini carton as one of the make and takes at our monthly online team meeting on Tuesday – again using the Love You Always Specialty DSP and foil from the retiring January-June catalogue. If you’d like to know more about joining our team to craft along at future meetings then please email me.
For both versions, I used the Clever Clasps to clip the carton closed. The Clasps come in a mix of gold and silver colouring. At the time of posting, they are still available, but they’re retiring soon and are only around until the end of the month or while supplies last. These are so useful that it’s worth getting your hands on some before they’re gone!
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Magenta Madness, Pale Papaya and Metallic Gold.
Magenta Madness expressions mini carton
Start with a 6″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP. Score, cut and assemble following my tutorial here. Using Magenta Madness ink, stamp the sentiment from the Artistically Inked set onto a scrap of Basic White card. Die cut out with the small stitched banner from the Tasteful Labels die set. Die cut the double pointed stitched label from Gold Foil. Adhere the sentiment direct to the Gold label and pop up on the front of the mini carton with dimensionals. Fill your mini carton with a favourite treat and clip closed with a Clever Clasp (retiring soon).
