Tutorial for ever eden Christmas card

November 2, 2021

Today’s tutorial is for an ever eden Christmas card. The addition of the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack helps make this a quick card.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Ever Eden Specialty DSP (a limited time exclusive product). I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that share different ideas for using this pretty paper year round.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the ever eden Christmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own.

Start with an A6 portrait card of Evening Evergreen. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Ever Eden Specialty DSP and adhere direct to the card front. Press out a large label from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. Using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Tidings and Trimmings set in the centre. Add the trio of leaves from the same set to the two opposite empty corners using the same ink. Press out gold leaves from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and adhere behind the label. Tie on Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon to the top of the tag before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. Add Garden Gems to both the tag and direct to the card front.

Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.

On the Basic White insert, using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Tidings and Trimmings set. Add the open design stocking and a ribbon from the same set with the same ink and colour the ribbon in with a marker.
