Today’s tutorial is for a layered Friendly Hello card. This steps up the patterns and sentiment used in the quick Friendly Hello card.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the layered Friendly Hello card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Friendly Hello stamp set and DSP is 159990).
The Friendly Hello bundle is free with a £90 purchase during Sale-a-bration.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Basic Black and Crumb Cake.
Layered Friendly Hello card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Petal Pink. Cut and adhere direct, a card front layer of Friendly Hello DSP. Cut a panel of another pattern of the Petal Pink design and mat onto Basic Black card. Adhere the panel direct to the left side of the card front. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the bird on branch image from the Friendly Hello set onto a panel of Basic White card. Colour in with Petal Pink, Bronze and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. Mat onto Basic Black card and pop up on dimensionals, overlapping the matted panel. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the set onto a plain Petal Pink pattern of the DSP. Trim and mat onto Basic Black card. Pop up on dimensionals beneath the stamped image.
Take a length of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon and cut to create two thin outer strips. Add a length of gold cord from the Simply Elegant Trim and tie all three into a bow. Add to the top left corner with a Mini Glue Dot.
Layered Friendly Hello card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the Friendly Hello set centre left. Add a border of stamped flowers down the right using the same ink with the duo of flowers from the Friendly Hello stamp set. Stamp in the centre first and then add further flowers above and below. Colour with Petal Pink Blends.
Thanks for stopping by.
