Tutorial for Special Moments box



Today’s tutorial is for a Special Moments box. The Sweet Little Box is from the January-June catalogue and you get 10 food safe, easy to assemble boxes for £9.25. These boxes are very dinky but great for gifting a cheque, gift card or small sweets (candies). The very small sentiments in the Special Moments stamp set are a great size to add to these boxes.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Special Moments box. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own (the order code for the Special Moments stamp set is 158081).

This box was one of the make and takes we did in our January Paper Dolls meeting. There are just a few days left to add any two stamp sets to your starter kit for free, if you want to join the team.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Mango Melody, So Saffron and Soft Succulent.

Special Moments box

Start with a Sweet Little Box. With the box still in its flat pack condition, adhere Flowering Fields DSP to the front, back and sides of the box. Assemble the box. Using the Hippo & Friends dies, die cut a shaped oval from So Saffron card. Pop this up on the front of the box with dimensionals. Using the Tulips dies, die cut the stem and leaf from Soft Succulent card and tulip petals from Mango Melody and So Saffron card. Adhere the stem direct to the So Saffron label, trimming it as needed. Fold and assemble the tulip petals, layering with mini dimensionals. Adhere the finished tulip direct to the top of the stem. Pop the leaf up on the label with mini dimensionals. Using Soft Succulent ink, stamp a sentiment from the Special Moments set onto a skinny strip of Very Vanilla card. Pop the sentiment up on the box front, over the top of the leaf, with mini dimensionals. Finish with a trio of Brushed Brass Butterflies.
