Today’s tutorial is for a ladybug circle card. This time I’ve combined the builder punch with the Hello Ladybug stamp set.

This was my swap card for my Paper Dolls team back in January.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the ladybug circle card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

The colour combo mixes Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade and Basic Black.

Ladybug circle card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Poppy Parade. Cut a card front layer of Flirty Flamingo and run through the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere direct to the card front. Using the Layering Circles dies, die cut a large plain circle from Pattern Party DSP. Adhere direct to a large scallop circle die cut from Granny Apple Green card. Adhere the circles direct to the upper card front. Using Memento Black ink, stamp sentiments from the Hello Ladybug set onto a scrap of Basic White card. Die cut out with the postage edged label from the Floral Gallery set. Mat onto Poppy Parade card and pop up over the circles with mini dimensionals.

Use the Stamparatus to stamp the ladybug elements twice each for solid colours. Stamp the ladybug wings from the Hello Ladybug set with Poppy Parade ink onto Basic White card. Allow to dry fully. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the lady bug body and also the black spots onto the stamped wings. Once dry, punch out with the Ladybug Builder Punch and adhere together. Pop up on the card front with an action wobble spring.

On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp the walking ladybug. Add a red body over the top with Poppy Parade ink.
