Today’s tutorial is for a Textural get well card. This time we’re using the Textural Elements plain, as part of a layered spray of foliage.
I’ve used a get well sentiment for this card but it would also work for other occasions.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Textural get well card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Gray Granite, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent.
Textural get well card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Gray Granite. Cut a card front layer of Evening Evergreen. Cut two card front panels, from different patterns of the Gray Granite Sun Prints DSP. Adhere them direct to the Evening Evergreen card front layer. Wrap White Frayed Ribbon over the join in the papers and adhere the layers direct to the card front.
Using the Forever Flourishing dies, die cut leaves from Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent card. Adhere these direct to the card front. Add a Textural Elements spray over the die cut leaves with a strong adhesive. Using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Cottage Rose set onto an oval label die cut from Basic White card with the All That dies. Use the same die set to cut a larger shaped label from Evening Evergreen card. Adhere the labels direct to each other and pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with a trio of Evening Evergreen 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
Textural get well card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp just the foliage using the large floral stamp from the Cottage Rose set. Add borders of Sun Prints DSP and Evening Evergreen card down the right edge.
Thanks for stopping by.
