Today’s tutorial is for a inked glimmer xmas card. The Glimmer Pack includes Real Red and White versions. We’re transforming the White Glimmer Paper with a few drops of ink refill.

I’ve used Gorgeous Grape for my card but you can colour your Glimmer Paper to match any project.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the inked glimmer xmas card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Gorgeous Grape, Basic White and Iridescent.

Inked glimmer xmas card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Gorgeous Grape. Mat with a layer (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) of Snowflake Specialty Vellum. Adhere the vellum by using adhesive behind the area where the snowflake will sit and Mini Glue Dots in each corner. Ink White Glimmer Paper using a Gorgeous Grape ink refill (see video). Once dry, die cut with the snowflake from the Labels Aglow die set. Pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Using Gorgeous Grape ink, stamp a sentiment from the Brightest Glow set onto a strip of Basic White card. Punch out with the plain oval from the double oval punch. Punch a scalloped oval from Gorgeous Grape card. Pop the plain oval up on the scalloped with dimensionals. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with more dimensionals. Finish with Pastel Pearls.

Inked glimmer xmas card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Gorgeous Grape ink, stamp another sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Repeat stamp the medium snowflake from the Christmas Lights stamp set down the right side of the insert with more Gorgeous Grape ink.
