Today’s tutorial is for a textured sit stay relax card. We’re using the same layout as our quick card but using a textured background instead of DSP.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the textured sit stay relax card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Polished Pink, Gray Granite and Melon Mambo.

Textured sit stay relax card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Gray Granite. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Polished Pink card. Emboss the card front layer with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder (see the embossing folder care tips below) and adhere centrally, direct to the card front.

Using Melon Mambo ink, stamp an image from the Sit Stay Relax set onto a rectangle of Basic White card. Mat onto Gray Granite card. Using Melon Mambo ink again, stamp a sentiment from the Sit Stay Relax set onto a smaller rectangle of Basic White card. Mat onto Gray Granite card. Pop the image up on dimensionals on the card front, a little to the left. Pop the sentiment up just below, with more dimensionals, overlapping the image slightly.

Textured sit stay relax card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Melon Mambo ink, stamp another sentiment from the Sit Stay Relax set. Add a textured border at the base with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder.
