Tutorial for twine thank you card

December 28, 2022

Today’s tutorial is for a twine thank you card. This project includes a sneak peek of the Dainty Flowers DSP that we have coming up for you in January. This pack will be free with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration.

Some projects between now and 5 January may only include one sneak peek, others may have more. Please stop by regularly to check.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the twine thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own (with the exception of the Dainty Flowers DSP which will be available from 5 January).

Start with an A6 landscape card of Starry Sky. Cut a 5-1/2″ x 3-7/8″ card front layer of Basic White card. Adhere a 5/18″ x 3-7/8″ strip of Starry Sky patterned Dainty Flowers DSP direct to the left edge of the card front layer. Cut a 4-1/8″x 3-7/8″ of floral patterned Dainty Flowers DSP and adhere direct to the left side of the card front layer. Wrap Starry Sky Baker’s Twine around the layer three times and secure on the reverse. Tie the twine together in a teeny bow in the centre. Adhere the card front layer direct to the card front

Using Starry Sky ink, stamp a sentiment from the Plentiful Plants set onto a 2-1/4″ x 3/4″ strip of Basic White card. Mat onto a 2-1/2″ x 1″ panel of Starry Sky card. Pop up on the card front with dimensionals in the lower right corner.
