Tutorial for gem dots card

January 6, 2023

Today’s tutorial is for a gem dots thank you card. I use three different patterns from the Dandy Designs DSP (free with a £90 purchase during Sale-a-bration) for the card front. The Solid Faceted Gems are used to accent the dots pattern of the DSP.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the gem dots thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Start with an A6 portrait card of Balmy Blue. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Granny Apple Green card and adhere centrally, direct to the card front. Cut the next layer (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) of Balmy Blue card and adhere centrally, direct to the card front. Panels (3-3/8″ x 1-1/2″) of three different patterns of Dandy Designs DSP are adhered evenly on the card front. Using Starry Sky ink, stamp a sentiment from Charming Silhouettes set onto a scrap of Basic White card. Die cut the sentiment out with the matching Sentiment Silhouette dies. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with a dimensional. Finish by adding a trio of Balmy Blue Solid Faceted Gems.

Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
