Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. I’ll have tutorials for you this week, that share different ideas for using the DSP separately and also with the Playing in the Rain bundle (which is part of the same product suite).
Please note that we’re into the last couple of days of our Sale-a-bration and it’s your last chance to qualify for free products (ends 28 February).
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Balmy Blue, Mango Melody and Old Olive.
Quick rain or shine get well card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Balmy Blue. Cut a card front layer (5-1/2″ x 1-7/8″) of a rain pattern of Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. Adhere direct to the top of the card front, keeping the top and side margins even. Cut the next layer (5-1/2″ x 2″) of an umbrella pattern of Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. Adhere direct to the base of the card front, keeping the base and side margins even. Cut a strip of 5-1/2″ x 3/8″ Mango Melody card and adhere over the join in the DSP.
Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Cottage Rose set onto a scrap strip of Basic White card. Punch out with the plain oval from the double oval punch. Punch a scalloped oval from Balmy Blue card. Adhere the stamped plain oval direct to the scalloped oval. Pop the sentiment up on the card front with dimensionals.
Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.
