Today’s tutorial is for an Enamel birthday label card. This time we’re adding another DSP to the mix and using just one Enamel Sticker Icon to decorate a birthday label.
This card is great for a car lover as we’re mixing a car pattern of DSP with a tyre tread pattern of DSP.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Basic Black, Cajun Craze and Sahara Sand.
Enamel birthday label card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Basic Black. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) of Sahara Sand card. Adhere a (3-5/8″ x 3″) panel of Ready to Ride Specialty DSP to the base of the Sahara Sand layer, keeping the bottom and side margins even. Cut a (3-5/8″ x 2-1/4″) panel of He’s the Man Specialty DSP to the top of the Sahara Sand layer, keeping the top and side margins even. Cut a strip (3/8″ x 3-7/8″) of Basic Black card and adhere over the join in the DSP. Adhere the layers centrally, direct to the card front.
Using the Something Fancy dies, die cut nesting labels from Basic White and Basic Black card. Stamp a sentiment from the A Grand Kid stamp set onto the left of the White label with Memento Black ink. Stick an Enamel Sticker Icons to the right of the sentiment. Adhere direct to the Black label and pop up on the card front with dimensionals.
Enamel birthday label card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set. Add a border of Ready to Ride Specialty DSP along the base.
