Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Texture Chic Specialty DSP. Each pack includes 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ patterned paper featuring gold foiling on one side and a distressed, aged look on the other. I’ll have tutorials for you this week, that share different ideas for using these versatile papers.
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Soft Succulent and Metallic Gold.
Quick Texture Chic wedding card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Petal Pink. Cut a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Soft Succulent. Cut a (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) card front layer of Texture Chic Specialty DSP. With the short edge at the top, cut this piece at 1″ and flip one side over. Adhere the two DSP panels, direct to the card front layer, keeping the margins even. Wrap Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the join in the papers and secure on the reverse. Adhere these layers direct to the card front.
Using Soft Succulent ink, stamp a sentiment from the Something Fancy set onto a (1-3/4″ x 2-1/4″) rectangle of Basic White card. Adhere direct to a (2″ x 2-1/2″) mat of Soft Succulent. Pop this up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with a trio of Flower Trinkets.
