Today’s tutorial is for an irresistible thank you card. I’m using the complete Hello, Irresistible suite today. The Irresistible Blooms dies and the Loose Frosted Dots were out of stock when I created this card but should be coming back into the warehouse again soon.

This card was one of our make and take projects at our April Paper Dolls team meeting (please email me if you’re interested in joining our team).

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the irresistible thank you card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Soft Sea Foam, Pretty Peacock and Daffodil Delight.

Irresistible thank you card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Soft Sea Foam. Cut a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Hello, Irresistible DSP. Using the Irresistible Blooms dies, die cut the swirly circle from the upper portion. Stamp a sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms set through the negative space of the DSP with Pretty Peacock ink (coming soon). Adhere this DSP layer direct to the card front. (Tip – I recommend this order so that if you happen to make a mistake with stamping you can add a stamped Basic White layer between the card front and DSP to correct it). Using the Irresistible Blooms dies, die cut some small leaves from the Hello, Irresistible DSP. Pop up on the card front with mini dimensionals. Finish by adding Loose Frosted Dots to the swirly circle and at the base of the leaves.

Irresistible thank you card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp another sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set. Add a stamped border of speckles from the set across the top with more Pretty Peacock ink. Finish with a border of Hello, Irresistible DSP across the base.
