The Inked Botanicals DSP is part of a suite that includes some matching floral stamps but the papers work well with a lot of different floral sets. Here I’ve used the Color & Contour stamp set and Scalloped Contours dies.
Our team has a themed swap each month and this one was a sketch. I swapped the circle in the sketch for a flower shape.
Feel free to use this sketch for your own card making inspiration and please let me see your creations!
Colour Combo
This colour combo mixes Crushed Curry, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.
Botanical sketch thank you card
Start with an A6 portrait card of Lost Lagoon. Add a card front layer of Crushed Curry. Cut three separate 1″ strips of Inked Botanicals DSP, two from one pattern and one from a similar but different colour pattern. Adhere these direct to the card front. Cut a narrow strip of Lost Lagoon card and a slightly narrower strip still, of Crushed Curry card. Adhere these direct together and then adhere direct to the card front.
Using Lost Lagoon ink and the Color & Contour set, stamp both the outline flower and the infill flower over the top, onto a scrap of Basic White card. Stamp off onto scrap paper first each time, for a paler shade. Die cut out with the matching Scalloped Contour die. Using Pretty Peacock ink stamp a sentiment from the same stamp set over the die cut flower. Pop the flower up on the card front with dimensionals.
