Tutorial for quick Blossom Wishes Kit card

July 31, 2023

Today’s tutorial is for a quick Blossom Wishes Kit card. I’m simply following the instructions that come with the kit for this card, but later in the week I’ll be sharing suggestions for going “off-script”.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Blossom Wishes Kit. This is a fully inclusive kit, no need even for extra adhesive or scissors. The kit creates 8 cards (with envelopes); 4 each of 2 designs. I’ll have tutorials for you this week, that share both simple and stepped up ideas for using the kit contents.

Starting tomorrow, 1 August 2023 we’ll have a Kits Collection by Stampin’ Up! Sale. Save up to 30% on our amazing kits all through the month!

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Blossom Wishes Kit card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own (which in this case is simply the Blossom Wishes Kit – nothing else is needed).

Start with the smaller slimline card base (if you look at the pic closely you may just be able to make out that this has a chevron texture background to it). Pop the Sweet Sorbet half circle card layer up on the card front with dimensionals. Press out and add the pair of pears and the sentiment and pop these up on the card front with more dimensionals. Press out the large branch and add this with mini glue dots. Finish by adding pressed out vellum blossom with more mini glue dots.

Here’s a short video showing how this quick card comes together. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel to see my quick cards and quick tips each week.

I stuck completely with the kit contents for this card and so didn’t stamp any greeting on the inside – it would be hand written. Of course you can easily stamp a sentiment from your stash inside.

One of the benefits of this kit is that you get co-ordinating envelopes for all the cards included.
