Day 9 of our new and returning colour focus, where I’m sharing projects that showcase one of these additions to the Stampin’ Up! colour families and suggesting a possible colour combination.
Today we’re using Soft Sea Foam. This is another brand new colour and it’s a very pale and delicate green.
I’ve combined it with our existing Night of Navy and Pacific Point. The card design is based on a sketch I found on Pinterest (please feel free to follow my boards at craftingandstamping if they help inspire you).
I have another sneak peek for you too, check out the embossed background!
The card base is an A6 portrait of Night of Navy, matted with Pacific Point card. A panel of Soft Sea Foam was run through the Big Shot with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder (sneak peek) and adhered direct to the card front. Some Garden Impressions DSP was trimmed to a banner, matted onto Night of Navy card and popped up onto the card front with dimensionals. Using Soft Sea Foam, the bow from Picture Perfect Birthday was stamped onto Whisper White card and then sprinkles from the set were stamped around it with the same ink. The detail fill-in stamp for the bow was stamped over the top with Pacific Point ink, stamping off once first. Night of Navy was used to stamp a sentiment from the set over the existing stamping before die cutting out with a Layering Circle and matting onto a larger circle of Night of Navy card. The circles were popped up on the card front with dimensionals.
On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday set was stamped in Night of Navy. Soft Sea Foam and Pacific Point inks were used to stamp a party blower below the sentiment. A thin strip of the same pattern of DSP used on the front was adhered to the right hand side.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.
