Dressed Up Bag

January 23, 2020

Today I’m back with a Dressed Up Bag to hold the mini cards that I shared a few days ago.

Dressed Up Bag

The Dressed Up Bag can be assembled/folded to give a variety of different styles. This one has the sides folded out and the straps attached front-to-front and back-to-back so that the mini cards fit in easily.

The Best Dressed DSP is 6″ x 6″ and has four each of 12 double-sided designs. You need two each of the same pattern to make the bag, one for the front and one for the back.

Colour Combo

This colour combo takes the main colours of the DSP mixing Lovely Lipstick, Petal Pink and Whisper White mainly, with a few more accent colours added in.

Instructions

Dressed Up Bag

Using the All Dressed Up dies, die cut two main bag pieces and two stitched handles from 2 sheets of the Best Dressed DSP. Die cut four buckles from Champagne Foil and one tab closure from Lovely Lipstick card. Assemble the main bag.

Curl the stitched handles/straps so that they won’t crease when you attach them. Thread Foil buckles onto the ends of the bag straps and add a mini dimensional behind each buckle to secure it in place. Use these same dimensionals to attach the straps to the bag. Curl the tab closure and attach one end to the back of the bag. Add a Best Dressed Tassel to the front of the closure with a Mini Glue Dot. Place the Mini Cards in the bag and adhere the front of the tab closure. Alternatively, use mini magnets on the closure so that it can be opened and closed as needed.
