Today’s tutorial is for an ever eden congrats card. This time the specialty DSP is simply a background for the intricate floral die cuts.
The sentiment label is similar to the one I created for the zigzag shimmer ribbon card here but this time I stepped it up by using the narrowest Stitched Rectangle die – it nests beautifully on the long Eden die.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the ever eden congrats card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Metallic Gold.
Ever eden congrats card
Start with an A6 landscape card of Soft Succulent. Mat with a card front layer of Evening Evergreen and then one of Ever Eden Specialty DSP. Die cut a large floral frame from Evening Evergreen card using the Eden dies and adhere direct to the front of the card. From Gold Foil, die cut a smaller floral frame and adhere direct to the front of the card. Die cut a fancy label from Soft Succulent card using the Eden dies. Using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from Art Gallery onto a label of Basic White card die cut out with a Stitched Rectangle die and adhere direct to the fancy label. Pop up over the gold frame with dimensionals. Finish with Garden Gems.
Ever eden congrats card insert
On the Basic White insert, using Evening Evergreen ink, stamp a sentiment from the Eden’s Garden stamp set. Stamp leaves from the same stamp set on either side of the sentiment. Add a border of the Ever Eden Specialty DSP across the base and top with a skinny strip of Evening Evergreen card
Thanks for stopping by.
