If you don’t have any Halloween stamps and would rather invest your craft budget in other stamp sets, you don’t have to ignore Halloween, you can still make some great projects.
Here, a small piece of ribbon has been fashioned into a bat just by adding some Googlies.
The sour cream container/jubbly was made from Frightful Sight DSP. (Unfortunately the Crimper has sold out from our Retired List now but you can get the same effect with a scoring tool and board). A 1-3/4″ Circle was punched from Whisper White card and stamped with the splatter stamp from French Foliage (W120845 or C121166) in Basic Gray ink, stamping off first for a fainter colour, to create the craters on the “moon”. This was popped onto the treat container with dimensionals. A loose knot was tied in a short length of Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon (119962), the “wings” trimmed and the knot adhered to the moon with a glue dot. Googlies (127539) were adhered direct to the knot to finish.
The Frightful Sight papers are still available from our retiring list at 40% off (as of this evening). This side of the paper shown above has little bat and spiders web motifs but the other side is simply spotted in a small pattern. Four of the designs in the pack have a simple non-Halloween specific pattern on one of the sides, only two of the designs have a Halloween theme on both sides. So you’ll be able to use these papers for other projects (if you have any left) after Halloween has been and gone. Please email me if you’d like to order.
Have a great weekend.
