Simply Said - close up

Another retiring stamp set featured again today for you. And I think all the dull grey weather was making me crave something bright and sunny in my life. The weather is a little better here today but I’m still glad I went for these colours.

Some more items have now disappeared altogether. These items have just recently sold out:

  • Tempting Turquoise 12″ x 12″ card
  • Whisper White 12″ x 12″ card
  • On Board Art Journal
  • Real Red 1cm Taffeta Ribbon
  • Spiral Punch

Please email me as soon as possible if there’s anything you’d like to order from the retiring list – I’d hate for you to miss out.

Simply said sunny and bright

Recipe
Stamp set: Simply Said (106598)
Cardstock: Peach Parfait (121692), Daffodil Delight (121680), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Poppy Parade (119782), Stazon Black (101406), SU Markers (119806/119801)
DSP: Sunny Garden (119831)
Punch: Full Heart (119883)
5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon: Certainly Celery (109050)
Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049)

The heart text was stamped onto Whisper White card with Poppy Parade ink three times. Using the stamp-a-ma-jig to get the alignment right the floral heart was then stamped within each using Black Stazon. Markers were used to colour in the little flowers before punching out the images with the Full Heart. The sentiment was stamped onto a strip of Sunny Garden DSP and matted along with a contrasting strip of DSP, onto Daffodil Delight card. Certainly Celery ribbon was fastened over the seam and secured at the back of the mat before adhering the layers to the card blank of Peach Parfait. The hearts were popped up on dimensionals.

More ideas with retiring products tomorrow.
