polar party candy wrapper box - close up

Have I mentioned that I’m off to Disneyland Paris next week for our Stampin’ Up! convention? Gosh I love this job!

I’m busy at the moment with this stamp set, finishing off card candy swaps to take with me. One of the little critters sort of snuck over into my workshop preparation this week and last night I demonstrated how to make this cute little box (thanks for a brilliant evening ladies I know some of you will be reading this *waves*).

polar party candy wrapper box

Recipe
Stamp set: Polar Party (W122675 or C122677)
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy (108606), Brushed Silver (124918), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Not Quite Navy (103008), SU Markers (119806)
DSP: Subtles Patterns Stack (117152)
Punches: Scallop Oval (119856), Extra-Large Oval (119859)
Bigz L Die: Candy Wrapper (120890)
Other: Dazzling Diamonds (102023)
Tools: Big Shot (113439)

The Candy Wrapper was die cut from Not Quite Navy card and strips of Baja Breeze DSP were added around the top and bottom of the main body before constructing the box. After stamping the penguin onto Whisper White card with Not Quite Navy ink, it was coloured in with markers (Baja Breeze, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie) and Dazzling Diamonds added as snow. The penguin was then punched out with the Scllop Oval and popped up on dimensionals onto an Extra-Large Oval punched from Brushed Silver card, before popping with more dimensionals onto the side of the Candy Wrapper.

A sweet treat to hang on the tree.

And if you’d like to come along to convention next year then please contact me. I’d love to have you join my team and share the fun!

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
