Choccie easter bunnies in a candy wrapper

March 21, 2012

It’s always a fun challenge to find ways to make my existing stamp sets work for alternative occasions and I decided that the little balloon holding bunny from my Perfect Postage set, could be an Easter Bunny. And how lucky, I can just squeeze a couple of mini Malteser choc bunnies into the box. Laughing

I kept the toppers simple to show off the pretty DSP that I used for the Candy Wrapper.

Recipe
Stamp set: Perfect Postage (W126111 or C126113), Teeny Tiny Wishes (W115370)
Cardstock: Lucky Limeade (124388), Calypso Coral (124392), Very Vanilla (106550)
Ink: Chocolate Chip (100908)
DSP: Everyday Enchantment (126154) (Free Sale-a-bration product)
Punches: Scallop Oval (119856), Large Oval (119855)
Bigz L Die: Candy Wrapper (120890)
Tools: Big Shot (113439)

The Candy Wrapper was die cut from Everyday Enchantment DSP and assembled. Using Chocolate Chip ink the bunny and the sentiment were each stamped twice onto Very Vanilla card and punched out with the Large Oval. The bunnies and sentiments were popped up on dimensionals onto Scallop Ovals punched from Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral card respectively. They were all then popped up on more dimensionals onto the candy wrapper itself.
