Fancy Favor Easter basket

Well I’ve just got back from shopping for the Easter eggs – we finally made it out of the house today … but I had to photograph the basket before we left to shop, so it looks a little empty still Smile not to worry, it’ll be filled before it’s given!

The Fancy Favor die (115965) was used to cut the whole basket from Tangerine Tango card and also the panels for the front and back from Floral District DSP (126919). Ovals Collection framelits (129381) were used to die cut apertures in the front and back of the basket and some acetate sandwiched between the card and DSP. The box was assembled and the handle, created from Scallop Edge Border (119882) punched Tangerine Tango card and more DSP, was secured with Metallic Brads (119741). The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (W129579 or C120024) was stamped in Tangerine Tango ink onto Whisper White card, die cut with the smaller Bitty Banner framelit (129267) then matted onto the larger Banner die cut from Tangerine Tango card, embellished with a couple of Basic Rhinestones (119246) before popping up on dimensionals across the clear window.

Here’s the other side of the basket:

Tomorrow I’ll be back with the first of two techniques for creating pretty envelopes.
