Petal Cone box with flowers

The Petal Cone die (121810) used to make this box is retiring which is such a shame. I loved the versatility of this die and I’ll be hanging on to mine. Here then is my latest take on it.

The box base is made from Calypso Coral card (this colour will become one of our core colours from 2 July) and our free tutorial for it is here. Tea for Two DSP (129311) was used to decorate the sides of the box and then Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon added to tie it closed. Individual flowers from the Flower Trim (126869) were snipped off, coloured with a marker (we shared this technique in a recent newsletter) and added to each corner of the box lid.

Here you can see how the petals of the lid intersect to close the box .
